Jeez Louise
The excitement continues. I decided to run 6 miles today, at least I set out to do that. I ran to the secondary street and my neighbor stops me for a few minutes. In actuality he did me a favor by moving my starting point away from home so that on the way back I can have a cool down period. I ran 6.01 miles in 1:06:39. Lord willing I will be able to get this down to less than an hour. I plan on doing the 1/2 marathon in 2 hours flat so Lord willing I have some work to do.

1/2 Marathon or Nothing!
Greetings! Well the time has finally come when I run the Causeway. This is part of my Gasparilla 1/2 marathon training. I was not really concerned about the overcast weather as I went on my inaugural run of the season. I was entertained by the fish jumping out of the water. I ran 3.93 miles in 41:07, have a blessed evening.

I am outta shape
Greetings, I have been REALLY slipping but this morning, I purposed in my heart to ride and run. I rode for 3.51 miles so much so that I broke the pedal on my bike. I didn't want to run the mile but I just had to do it. I took me 33:12 which wasn't bad. I did have a guardian beetle or some bug of the sort following me and I said good morning to Bambi; good times; may the Lord be with you. P.S. I plan on doing more of these ride and run training events; I will have to look into a biathlon in the area.

Great run
Greetings everyone, Gasparilla has come and gone and all that remains is some slight soreness and fond memories. My 5k run wasn't bad I was really hoping on getting my time under 28 minutes; I will have to check and see. My wife made her 5k debut also during the walking event. We walked and ran throughout the race. The icing on the cake is when it started to rain; nothing like a good soaking to get the juices flowing. I look forward to next year and also the upcoming Moffitt 5k race in May. The Lord kept us safe and there weren't any harm or danger to anyone that I could tell.

Almost time
Greetings everyone, tomorrow is the Gasparilla Distance Classic and I'm looking forward to it. Shout out to my church brother who is running the 1/2 marathon on Sunday. One thing I am going to try and do tomorrow is not get outpaced by the senior ladies in their tall colorful socks :) My best time that I ran in the 5k is going after one of those ladies wearing those socks. On the Crosstown Connector I couldn't keep up; I'm coming for you tomorrow Lord willing :) :) :)

Getting ready
Greetings, I figured that I needed to squeeze a run in before Gasparilla on Saturday. Due to the light traffic I was able to get home in a decent amount of time and take advantage of the remaining daylight. I ran 3.76 miles in 38:23; God bless and good night.

Sneak one in
Greetings, with all the cool weather it's "hard" to get a good run. Arriving at home approximately 4:45 I decided to sneak one in before gets too cool. I ran a 5k and to my chagrin in 31:54. I need to find a new running app; everyone have a blessed and God filled night.
