yet... a little farther
Good evening, it's funny how easy it is to quit. While running I felt a cramp move from my right side to the left, to my thighs then my knees. I chose to ignore the cramp and keep pushing. I planned on running 4 miles but ran 5.31 in 50:35 instead, the Lord is good :)

a little farther...
Good morning good people, for my second run for the year I jogged down to my neighbor's house at the end of the block and returned; too bad my app didn't record the map but it did keep the time. I ran ~3.15 miles with a time of 29:36; have a blessed day :)

HAPPY 2013
Good afternoon, well it's the start of a new year and new goals. Thank the Lord for allowing me to see a new year. I just finished my first run of the year which was thru the neighborhood; 2.98 miles. I started using an app for my phone by the name of mapmyrun; not bad. Have a blessed day everyone! p.s time to put some miles on these.

happy new year
I hope everyone had a happy and blessed new year and may the Lord be with you all the way in 2012! I didn't get a chance to run this weekend so I decided to make it up today. The original plan was to run 9.5 miles. Last night while looking for a half way point from the house, I found a gas station that was 5.5 miles away. I figured that I would run 11 miles and call it a day. The funny thing is almost a mile into my run I thought about running 13.1. I wondered if my body could match my brain and after digging in I did it! My starting time was at 7:43 ending at 10:07.

getting ready
Good morning all, I ran a good 8 miles this morning taking 1 hour and 43 minutes (7:12 - 8:55).
Yes it was slow but hey it's Christmas. Thank God I found a training program to prepare me for Gasparilla. I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas, don't eat too much and let's remember the reason for the season which is Jesus Christ our Lord.

round and round
Running on the Brandon High track was interesting. Going around 26 times (6.5 miles for that day) I thought that I was going to go crazy; at the end of it, not bad at all. A good friend of mine accompanied me around the track even though he ran about a lap and a half. My goal was to see how many times that I could lap him. I finished my cool down lap right before the rain started; talk about perfect timing. The Lord kept it dry for me so that I could finish running :)
